Sealevel SeaDAC modules are used with Salient Systems’ CompleteView VMS as external alarm devices. The CompleteView Server is capable of detecting the external alarm inputs from the SeaDAC module, and can manipulate its outputs. CompleteView can associate the module’s inputs and/or outputs with CompleteView cameras which can trigger appropriate actions such as camera preset activation and recordings. Actions depend upon the input settings, set either high or low.
The SeaDAC 8221 has a strictly digital I/O interface, and cannot be cascaded to any other devices. SeaDAC 8221 modules provide 16 optically isolated inputs and 16 Reed relay outputs. Inputs can range from 5-30VDC, while the Reed relays provide long life switch closures that are well-suited for low current applications. Inputs and outputs are grouped into four-bit segments. Each group shares a common ground for easy wiring via removable 3.5mm terminal blocks.
